Why is it 88 degrees? - A collection of quotes

I often see questions about how 88 degrees separate the imprints from the Personality and Design crystals. Ra didn’t know why per se, he only mentioned that’s what the Voice told him (annoying, yes, but there are parts of the knowledge that we simply can’t get a reason why other than this one), here are things he shared in different places about it, explaining how important that number is within the system :

“You know, the first people who said to me, what about this 88 degrees? And, you know, I knew that was going to be a problem. I mean, I knew from the beginning, that was good. And I'd say to them, I don't know. That's what I was told. And then oh, look at me kind of like “Sure, right.” You know, nobody asked me any more than I had this question thing. At the end of the workshops, I was waiting for the classic questions that I have no answer for you. Because to me, those are the most interesting questions. I love to be able to say, I don't know. I mean, it's fun. You know, there's some things you cannot know, right? I don't know why it's 88 degrees, I can give you a reason.

I mean, I'm very good at the reason, it's very obvious to me that if it was 90 degrees, there'd be no life. I mean, everything would be frozen. I mean, you can see that the way profiles work, and blah, blah, blah, and you end up with a helix and data, data data, but you don't know why I can give you a reason.” (from Design concepts)

“Incarnation crosses operate on an 88 degree angle differentiation between personality and design, that's life. It's not fixed, and it's not locked. If it were 90 degrees between the personality and the design, there would be no such thing as life, there would be no mutated potential, everything would be locked.” (This is from “A Ra(t)’s tales of things to come”)

He used to talk often about how much the mutation of life needs those degrees for life to be here. How the profiles we can have or not (no 1/2, 1/5, 2/3 etc) or which incarnation crosses happen or not (Rave cartography gives more details about the profiles).

PHS analysis certification teaches that there’s a very specific process that happens during the first 88 degrees of life, once conception started.

There also seems to be some process happening at the closing stage of conception (pre birth) too that i don’t know much about except this “Now, I demonstrated to you yesterday, I gave you this equation, this binary equation where you have 88 degrees of the developmental stage of building the framework, you have 88 degrees at the closing stage. And in between you have this interregnum that moves, for example, that we have children that are being born very, very, very early. And this interregnum is being squeezed and squeezed.” (From global incarnation index)

In Dream rave, he says “These three divisions (earth plane, demon realm, light field) are very important. And they're very important in terms of the way in which non personal general programming takes place. non-personal general programming, and the source of this programming is differentiated. In other words, we have three different sources, we have three different sources in which we are going to be imprinted in our sleeping state. In other words, if you think about the way in which we operate in the awake state, you know, we are receiving a general feed a general neutrino feed, and we're taking it in on a string, one neutrino with time through our crystal. As a matter of fact, that operates at an 88 degree angle for those of you who like trivia.”

And then 88 degrees is also how we receive the information from neutrinos “The truth is that we do not receive neutrino stream on a 90 degree angle, it's in fact 88 degrees, slightly off, we are slightly off programmed.” (from Architecture of life)

So I don’t know why it is 88 degrees, I just know it’s *everywhere* in the structure.
