Lines of the day
On the 1st Line Day, you may be less successful than in the second half of the cycle
The 1st Line Day is always a day of laying the foundation through research, planning, finding the ground, and authority for this transit. In plain language, if you decided to start something or achieve something on the 1st Line Day, you may be less successful than in the second half of the cycle. Because the lower part of the hexagram is self-absorbed, so you need to get accustomed to whatever transit you're going through to advance.
On the 2nd Line Day, you become visible. This is the moment when you are being called. So if you are planning a negotiation, or want to start something, skip the 1st Line day and use the 2nd Line Day instead. Treat the 1st Line Day as the best time for doing your homework, so you could go out and speak about your conclusions on the 2nd Line Day. Having said that, the 2nd Line Day won't work this way for everyone. Some of us will have to wait for the 3rd Line Day or even beyond it. Here, you'd need to align the Line Days with your own Lines in your Profile and any of the Gates if necessary.
The 3rd Line Day is a tricky one, as this is the day when things start interacting with each other. This interaction may be good or bad. So if you are asking for promotion it may work out either very well, or not well at all. This is the day of trial and error, so unless you are ready to pivot, you probably should wait for another day to make critical decisions or arrange important events.
If you are sensing that the 2nd and 3rd Lines Days might be actually good for you, you must be either a Generator or a Projector, because these days bring opportunities to respond by either being called or forced to respond. The 3rd Line Day brings impact whether positive or negative, so you should be careful on that day. If you are not looking for completion of something, take a day-off on the 3rd Line Day to not provoke it.
Now, we're moving into the upper trigram that carries the transpersonal potential.
The 4th Line Day is known to be the most powerful day, it's the day of externalization. It is also a day of interaction and friendliness, so this may be the best day for negotiations or parties. This is an emotional day, so if you go shopping, you'll buy what your heart desires no matter the price. BTW, the 4tht Line Day is the best day for salespeople, for this reason. This day is all about feelings, so if you want an open conversation, this is your day.
BTW, today is the 4th Line Day, and I was working with entrepreneurs on their positioning statement and, all of a sudden, I noticed that they don't mention emotions of their target customers at all.
In contrast, 5th Line Day is very practical. If you want to do smart shopping, this is the day to do it. This day is all about projections, so people will be projecting at you, and you will be projecting at people. It's a day when people may damage their careers by not bringing any value, or repair them by being solution-oriented. The 4th and 5th Lines Days are about activities. We should go out in the world and use our design to align with the energies of these days to progress.
The 6th Line Day is about evaluations of what's happened recently. 6th is the line of greatest judges. But it's also a day of rest, so 6th Line people tend to downshift early in their life. This day may be a day of unreasonable decisions or crises if you are under 30, or a day of apathy if you are over 30 yo. While the parents want to rest on this day, their kids might want to burn the house. This day is relative to your Saturn cycle. Knowing that you can manage your own weekends: the craziest things will happen when the 6th Line Day falls on a calendar weekend, while it may be pretty slow if it falls on the weekday.
