The Solar Plexus is such an incredible thing. It brings us what we consider the most delicious aspects of life. The pleasure of food and music and sex and tribal celebration and experience and all of these things that make up what it is to be a human being.

It's our source of passion, desire and yet, at the same time, if one simply identifies with the motor and its movement, the moment one identifies only with that, it's lost. It's not that the Emotional system is incorrect. It's how the Emotional system operates in the world that's incorrect.

There isn't a consistent emotional clarity. This is not about controlling your emotions. It's not about controlling them - it's about being clear. It's allowing them to go through their full spectrum in anything: the ridiculous display of emotional nonsense to the profound display of emotional sensitivity, whatever the case may be, it has to go through its own movement.

It's not about controlling anything. It's about recognizing that if you are a Solar plexus person, decision making for you, awareness for you, consciousness for you, is something that takes place over time. Over time... like the abstract process - it is cyclical. It takes time.
