How to use those notes
If you haven’t yet, I’d highly recommend you read the introduction for this collections of notes that is in this post. This is also where you’ll find the index for all the profiles and a gathering of all the notes for each line so you can get a fuller picture for your child’s profile.
✨ Parenting a 6/2 ✨
Practical take-aways from the section :
beware of the pressure : leave them alone [6+2]
they’ll ask and need you to build that trust : show them, be a role model [6]
The pressure of being a 6/2 role model hermit
“They're here to say, « this is what we are, and just the way it works, and everything's terrific. It's perfect. It's fabulous. It's great. » And of course, in the first 30 years, they learned that it's not true. Remember that the gift of the 3rd line, and the gift of the 3rd line theme, and the 6th is to find out what doesn't work and let go of it. And once you've recognised what doesn't work, and you let go of it, you can have a transpersonal potential to pay off your karma to those people who are coming to you for your objective advice.
I mean, that is after all, the whole key to the 6 to life is that it needs to have the right experiential field early in its life in order to be able to develop a clear objectivity later.
Again, that comes back to having 6 children. You know, the 6 child makes its parents nervous, because it does bizarre things. You know, they have this whole thing about their child is going to be the little role model. And their little role model ends up doing things that are not little role model-ish. And then they end up getting into a lot of trouble because of that. And of course, every time they get into trouble that unconscious of theirs says « Where is the place that I can get away? Where's the place that I can find that they will leave me alone? »”.
« Show me » [6th line]
“So trust for them is essential. These are the children of the man from Missouri. You know, « show me, show me show me show me show me show me ». You know, these are the little kids that play « Show and Tell » « let's play doctor, show me ». It's all « show me ».”
