Suicide in Human Design - A collection of quotes
My collection so far on the topic, it started with copying and pasting some of Di Vin gorgeous investigative work :
25.3 in detriment
“The potential loss of innocence through misfortune that in the extreme can manifest from crime to suicide.”
[The detriment to this Line though is not active in the world today. Not since Pluto was in 25.3 in the 1800s, and it won’t be active again until the 2200s]
28-38
“In fact, there is nothing more satisfying for a 28-38 than to find something that is worth fighting for because that means their life has meaning. This is a personal struggle but it can empower others in their own struggle for their own meaning. This is the only channel that is about seeking fulfillment through purpose - making this channel fundamental to the development of human beings. Whenever you see this channel in a chart you know that person is always seeking a purpose. Gate 28 is the intuitive watchfulness, fear-of-death, game player and risk taker. It is fueled by the pressure of Gate 38 is the to find its own, new way. Now, when you look at the 6th line of Gate 28, Blaze of Glory, you can see the extreme of seeking purpose is to go all the way to one's own death, to push the boundaries to the very end. After all, the 28th gate is the ultimate game player. Think Russian Roulette in this case. In this 6th line of the 28th gate is also the potential of suicide if they fail to find meaning. There is nothing more depressing than a 28-38 who is unable to find meaning in their life. It takes them a long time to give up, though, since it is the channel of stubbornness after all.”
28.6
“Now, this is, you know, the 28.6 is suicidal, and suicide is something that's deep inside the 28 phenomena, deep. You know, and it's not to say that, you know, everybody has at 28, you know, is suicidal and blah, blah, blah, what I'm saying is, it is there.”
“It is the only gate that is about seeking fulfillment through purpose, pure purpose, all 28th gates seek purpose, if you look at the 28th gate 6th line, you will see that, you know, the extreme of seeking purposes, you go all the way to your death, you know, it is aligned that has potential suicide, you go all the way to your death, just to have that one chance that there's some purpose and purpose in and of itself.”
29
“What are hidden in this 29 can be the deepest scars in humans. There is no line in here that talks about self-destruction or killing oneself but everything within the 29 has the potential for suicide. It has the potential to say no to the life process. It has the potential to say no to healing, no to being cured, no to being helped, no to being wanted. All of those things are always possible underneath, and it depends on whether or not they have in the earliest part of their life accepted for themselves the difficuly of what life is.”
[Especially heavy in 29 Lines 1-3 because they aren’t transpersonal… 29.1-3 is not looking across to the 46 ~ (the pushing upward into the kingdom of Heaven)]
“In the first three lines, you meet the most serious people in the world. 29.1, 2 and 3 can be so damn serious that it is frightening. There is no laughter in all of that. There is the deep recognition that this body has to deal with all kinds of difficulties in moving through the world, and it ain't necessarily a nice trip. When you get to the fourth line, it is like, "Oh, there is a sky above." The ability to look across the channel is quite different.”
44
“One of the most interesting things about the 44th gate is its fear of the past, which is in fact, a deep, deep fear of extinction, extinction. That's what the 44 is afraid of. It's not afraid of its individual life, disappearing, it is afraid of the tribe, and its way of life disappearing. I mean, in this day and age, people have a hard time at least anybody who's reasonably educated, has a very hard time understanding how a young man or woman will strap bombs to their body and walk into a room and kill people blow themselves up. And if you want to see the “I can blow myself up” gate, you're looking at it, you know, the gate of the suicide bomber, “I can blow myself up. As long as the tribe will endure, I can blow myself up. Because this is all about avoiding extinction. These people are destroying our schools and our way. They're destroying our rules, they ignore them, they bring in Coca Cola bottles and television sets and naked women and on and on and on. And I carry the promise of the future, I am the promise of the tribe, I will be its soldier, its warrior, if I must, I will sacrifice myself as long as the tribe will survive, I will take a lesser role in life I will serve rather than lead for the tribe to survive.” And oh boy is this gate good at it.”
1st lines
“Every 1st line carries potential suicide in them. It’s just one of those interesting little sidebars. And you can see it here in this line [5.1]. The premature and often disastrous urge to cut one's losses. Weakness in maintaining one’s rhythm when challenged. Now, I'm giving you this at a larger level, not at the personal Maya application of this line, but to really be able to see that when faced with the challenge of survival that there are those who will just say, from my investigation, it appears that I might as well just step out.
Now, when I say suicidal, suicide works in many ways. You can volunteer for a dangerous occupation. You can be a suicide bomber. You can be somebody who likes to be on the front line of war and threat and whatever. In other words, you can see that it doesn't matter that it's going to go like this, it doesn't really matter because the damn thing is going to end anyway and there's no point. It can be quite heavy, but the recognition is that the goal is perseverance. There is reward to accepting life.”
3/6-6/3 before their Saturn return
“And that's the whole life of a 3/3 for 28 years, you know, in our generation where yeah, so many things are possible these people usually kill themselves. And and I don't mean that directly that they commit suicide, but, you know, they they burn themselves out, they drive themselves into the ground, they take too many drugs, they take too much alcohol, you know, they die and traffic accidents, they die like flies in traffic accidents. You know, they just everything is ready to bang into something and there's all this deep, deep martyrism. And you know, they're ready for that.”
Open root
“I don't know what the statistics are about the open routes centre and suicide. But I guarantee you that there's a lot of open root suicides, because in the end, that's the quickest way to get rid of the burden and be free.”
Open ajna
“And the moment that you're dealing with the open ajna centre, and you're dealing with the certainty of that open ajna centre, you're dealing with a not-self strategy that so devastatingly powerful, “I'm certain that I'll go to heaven. So I will step on the mine. I'm certain I will go to heaven, I will walk into the supermarket and explode the bomb attached to my body.” You got to be pretty fucking certain to do such a thing. You don't get to that place with a fixed mind. You really don't give me a suicide bomber, I will show you an open ajna centre. Really? No joke. Because only only with an open ajna centre, can you actually find a fanatic.”
Open ego
“I mean, we are killer monkeys after all. You give a killer monkey a sense of worthlessness, they will show you some ugly ways in which they'll prove their worth. Show me a suicide bomber that has a defined ego, and I'll show you one that will not pull the switch. Show me a suicide bomber with an open ego and they will pull the switch with a smile on their face. “I am worthy, my God will take me” the madness we live in… is the not self world.”
“it's the the slaughter of the innocents you know, these crazy suicide bombers “Oh, I’ll show you I'm worthy. Boy, am I ever brave” I mean, more than any other dysfunction, that is there in our world is this dysfunction. I mean, it's incredible. And what it brings unable to prove worthiness, because of lack or loss of control, foolish acts, lies, distrust.”
Generators
“I mean, you know, if we do a statistical analysis, based on percentages relative to type of human beings that commit suicide, you will see that a disproportionate number are generators. I mean, they can really give up give up in a way that is really spooky. You know, they just quit. The frustration is just unbearable, unbearable.”
Not the integration system [34-57-10-20]
“Not so much suicidal, because I'm not like, that's not possible. I'm too integrative.”
