Listening again to PHS material on Determination from Ra, so good to get a more nuanced grasp of our determination compared to more general lectures, those have changed so much about my experience of it and guidance around it đ¤

Basics from Radical transformations
âWhen we get to the upper part we get to the most sensitive. In essence we're get- ting to the most modern. These are digestive systems that have actually emerged over the last 300 years, so theyâre relatively new and very much connected to our modern world. The first thing is the 5. This is sound. Again, we're dealing with environment here. Weâre not dealing with the sound inside of somebody. Weâre dealing with the acoustic environment that surrounds them.
For example, if you're a high person, if you're on the left side, you need sound around you when you eat. These are people that I tell put your iPod in, plug-in, turn up the volume and enjoy your meal, because you're really here to have sound around. These are people that are perfectâthere are very few people that belong in restaurants. But 5s on the Left, particularly the [unknown Spanish word] restau- rants, theyâre perfect, the hustle and the bustle and the noise and everything. Theyâre terrific in there.
Technology and Sound
But if they bring their friend who is on the other side, unless they're carrying Bose sound reduction headphones and have them on theyâre not going to have a good meal because they need silence. And whatâs so interesting about that is the modern connection. Theyâre really reconnected to our technologies, these two. Our capacity to be able to carry portable noise; all of us carry portable noise now. We can all plug in.
And the other side of that, the technology to eliminate noise, which is also something very profound and important for people who have the passive side of this, the low in the sound, to be able to have a soundproof room. To be able to have sound discon- necting headphones is something that's really important for them because they need silence. Sound is going to be very, very disturbing to their digestive process and theyâre not going to be able to digest correctly.â

âAnd that the transpersonal is what the holistic being who's suffering who comes to see you is dealing with, you know, they're dealing with the line themes and the gate themes and all those other things, they are on the surface, that it's very important to understand it for the fourth, the fifth and the sixth color, though, as you will see next week, again, each of these upper colors have their own peculiarities, that when you're dealing with these the the circumstance that is the connection to the other of the presence of the influence of the other is a part of the well being and it is an essential ingredient in that sense to the well being and the quality of the environment, not what the environment is which is the external, but what you take in in that sense from that environment, the quality of what you take in whether it is related to in that sense, you know, what is your predisposition.
So when we're dealing with the fifth color of sound We have two themes here, we've got the high, and we've got the low. Now the first thing about that is to think of it at its most simple level, and think of it in terms of decibels. And what I mean by that is very loud sound, and very soft sound. Just as a beginning point, we can talk high decibel, low decibel, we can talk high frequency, low frequency, you know, any kind of spectrum of the way in which sound operates.â
âThe intensity of the sound environment is what's important. You notice this with your families, you know, there are some families that when they gather around the table, they they eat in silence. And there are other families when they gather around a table. They're very, very noisy. And again, this tends to be conditioned by whatever the preferences are usually it's transference usually, it's second color beings who transferred to these things and it makes a mess out of everything. You know, they say everybody's got to be quiet. Otherwise it can't eat and then they put the wrong food in themselves.
But it really is something to understand about being a fifth color being is that you know there's some people that can live in big cities on busy streets. I'm always astonished by that. I mean, you know, I'm, I'm a 4.6 in terms of my design colors. So I have a very different perspective on all of that, you know, I look at apartment buildings that are built beside big highways. And I think to myself, My God, how can they do that? You know, it's incredible. And yet to recognize that, for some beings, obviously, those beings that are fifth color that are fixed on the high side, that the sound level in their lives is so important to their well being.
I think I was mentioning about the, the house cat, you know, how the house cat needs to, you know, go through its its cruel routine, in order to build up the proper juices in order to be able to digest the food correctly. And the thing to understand about 4s, 5s and 6s is that they're terrible food discriminators unless they're transferred, you know, so if you got a fourth color, or a fifth color, six color, internal, you know, and you're fussy about food you're transferred. It's as simple as that, you know, these are beings that can eat absolutely anything, no doesn't mean they have to eat absolutely anything. It simply means that it is not what they're eating, that makes the difference. It is the circumstance that makes the difference.
And you know, the person that I did this for years, you know, I would have couples who were split definitions. And I would say to them, Look, you know, it's very important for you to go out and eat in a public place, where you can be private, where you can take advantage of the other auras and whatever. Now imagine that you're somebody who is on the high side, and you're all alone in this life. You know, which means that you're going to end up taking in food, and taking in food potentially where there there isn't enough sound. And so this is the kind of being where, for example, you would recommend to them âDo not eat unless you know the radios on the TVs on the you know, the you've you've you've got an iPod plugged into your ears, whatever the case may be, it's very important for you do have a lot of sound aroundâ.
And it's not for any other reason that the very quality of the sound itself. This is the thing that's so amazing, is what allows your digestive system to operate accordingly. And because the fifth color has a connection to all of the tones, it doesn't matter what you eat, it will take precisely what it needs precisely what it needs to maintain your well being precisely. And again, this is something really, really to understand. This is a place where you get people who have an enormous amount of gas.
If you're somebody that's on the high side, and you have that quiet little moment where you eat very quietly by yourself, and it's all silent, you know, you're going to end up with digestive problems, you're just going to be uncomfortable, you're going to be bloated, you're going to have gas, you're going to and then of course the horror, you know you go to somebody because you tell them that you have this problem, and they give you terrible things that have nothing to do with what it's all about.
And so what becomes very important, and by the way, it does not matter whether the sound is natural or artificial. You know, it doesn't make any difference. It's the volume. It's so wonderful, you know, simplicity is so beautiful. It's the volume, turn up the volume, you turn up the volume, you know, these are the kinds of people where, you know, go go if you're alone, you know, go out where it's lots of people in, it's bustling, and there's all kinds of things going on. It's wonderful for your digestion more than that. You can eat what you like. To me, it's not like being 1, 2, 3 youâre a 1, 2, 3 It becomes a very selective process. I mean, a very selective process.
As a matter of fact, only the one is is relatively open to experimenting, you know but experimenting very carefully and you know, in its consecutive or alternating pattern, but the 2 and the 3 it's very, very fixed. When you go to 4, 5, 6 they eat and can eat anything and when they're correct. You know, that's when you know that not only can they eat everything. So they should.â
âSo for example, you know, you can begin to see the, the relationship between, you know, somebody who was fixed on the high side, and somebody, obviously, he was going to be fixed on the low side, you know, the kind of being that needs quiet, you know, that the quiet is something that is important, and it's not so much it has to be silence, it's not about silence, you know, the difference between the high and low can be, you know, the listening to the Rolling Stones doing jumping Jack Flash, if you're high, you know, and listening to a Chopin Sonata, you know, at a softer volume of for the low side. I mean, it isn't about silence, yeah, silence can be a part of it, you know, just as noise can be a part of the high side. But you know, very few people are going to be fixed to the extremes, because, again, remember that this special tonal relationship of the five moves itself around in its fixed area, so it really is simply about the, the quality of the circumstance.â
âAnd again, you know, some of our remedies are going to seem odd to the not-self, âwhat do you mean, listening to loud music at dinner is going to be good for me??â, you know. But the reality is that when somebody isn't well, and remember that 5s transfer to sickness all the time, you know, that they're willing to try and they will see very, very quickly, there is a difference and the differences in the way in which you process your food, which means ultimately, the difference is in the energetic frequency that's available. And there is nothing that brings that energetic frequency back up to its proper level for a fifth color, you know, then it then the right quality, the right circumstance, when they are taking things into their vehicle.
Now, remember, I'm not talking about all the therapies that we're going to look at that can use any of these, you know, any of these color qualities, we know the various therapies that are possible through sound and different kinds of sounds, and so forth, and so on. I'm just talking about the simple holistic practice of having precisely the right circumstance when you take food into your body. And the other thing is that the moment that the 5 does that, remember that they're always transferring to the 2, I mean âalwaysâ, the not-self. And that means that they're very closed to so many things, not only theyâreclosed to so many things, but they're only, they're only responding to one total instruction, which again, limits what they can take into their vehicle.
And so the moment that you move away from the 5, where you're supposed to take in this variety, and the moment that you're transferred to the 2 and you're closed off to so many things, you deprive your vehicle, and you deprive ultimately, what you need energetically and in terms of your chemistry, in order for, you know, your brain function to operate so that it's going to align you to what is your predisposition, it is going to align you to what your differentiation is meant to be very simple. But it has an enormous impact. And the other thing is that that client that comes to you, you know, that's been trying to live on, you know, seaweed and hogs years, or whatever it is, there's so many bizarre things that the transferred 2s can get into that all of a sudden, just by changing the the acoustic circumstance, they suddenly can begin enjoy eating again.â
âSo this circumstance, of the quality of the sound while you take in food and the recommendation, you know, for example, if I'm working with somebody who is a fifth color internal, not only am I explaining to them which end of this binary is theirs, but I'm also encouraging them to revitalize their system by opening up their system to different foods. You know, because what you're doing is slowly you are depriving your system of what's necessary in that transference. And of course, you can see that for a fifth color, because of its broad range and relationship to all the tonal areas. You know, it needs to get information from a broad spectrum of sustenance that is going into its vehicle. And for these beings, if if they have the right circumstance, they're going to discover that not only can they digest what they thought they couldn't digest, they're going to enjoy it. And they're going to derive from that the energetic level that will be so important for them.â
[low] âThe whole thing about low frequency is that the best eating is eating in silence. This is the best eating of all. It is perfect. However, if there is going to be a sound envi- ronment, your circumstance and that you have no control over, somebody else in your life or whatever, itâs very, very important to make sure that everybody turns the volume down. Thatâs really the thing.
The other thing is, and itâs something that I think is uni- versal withâI think weâll see that with low frequency fixingâis that anybody who ever yells at you, never have any- thing to do with them. People who raise their voice at you is something that can be very, very disturbing particularly during mealtime or whatever. So silence is very important for you while you eat. What I mean by that is Iâm not really just talking about the envi- ronment being silent, I mean you being silent.
In other words, donât engage in conversations while youâre eating. Just silently go about your business, pay attention to the glory of the taste of the food, or whatever it is. But itâs very important for you not to get engaged. And certainly not to get verbally engaged. If you speak while you eat you really upset your digestive system.â
[high] âItâs sort of like the way my son likes to eat. He turns on the stereo; itâs so loud that the brain cells dieâand Iâm not suggesting that, Iâm just having fun. But, noise is important for your digestion; funny how things work, but noise. And of course, it can be pleasant noise; it doesnât have to be unpleasant noise. But itâs something to really get about sound when you eat. Either you eat in environments that are noisy, like crowded restaurants, or if
youâre alone and youâre eating then make sure there is good volume around, put on some music that you like or whatever the case may be so you have the volume that you need.
You can even do an experiment, interesting what we can come up with. If you set the decibel level of music at mealtime gradually raising the decibel level and doing that one day after the other you will soon discover what is the right decibel level for youâwhat really is comfortable while you eat, and more than that, the by-product of that, the digestive system, how your body feels.
For most of us itâs your well-being; you really feel your well-being when youâre correct in the external and the internal. You feel it right away. You can feel the differ- ence in your energy level because after all when youâre digesting correctly then youâre going to get the maximum potential of energy from what youâve taken in. So, the sound level is very important for you.â
[low] âAgain, either silenceâthe most important thing and this is really for your genetic continuity with your Throatâ donât talk and eat. Itâs one of the worse things that you can do. Silence for you while you eat is very important.
It doesnât mean that people canât be talking around you. This is about internalizing. People can be talking around you, as long as theyâre not shouting and yelling. But the thing is that itâs very important for you to be silent. Any talking while you eat is going to be unhealthy for you.â
