PHS - Appetite Determination - A collection of notes

Listening again to PHS material on Determination from Ra, so good to get a more nuanced grasp of our determination compared to more general lectures, those have changed so much about my experience of it and guidance around it đ¤
Note : there is some repetition, I didnât choose to make sure info was only there once but rather collected all pieces that described each Determination it appears.
Of course, thereâs the Radical transformations basics to give us a foundation :
âNow, in most places in the world they're not going to get the chance to have that kind of diet. This is a cave diet. Itâs one thing at a time. And when I say one thing at a time, I mean one thing. You want salt? Take a pinch of salt and put it on your tongue; one thing at a time.â
But then itâs also⌠from PHS Analysis (Y1S2)
âNow think about just eating and think about appetite. You know, here, you have two different ways in which that can operate. That is, for example, only only being able to eat one thing at a time, only having an appetite to eat one thing at a time, only having an appetite when there are many things that are possibilities to eatâŚâ [omg the power in my life of realizing when Iâm emotional I have no actual appetite and not eating transforms my experience of being emotional as a non emotional appetite being]
âBut what I want you to see is that there is a real difference, there's something else as well, is that for example, if if this person is going to have certain medication for a certain problem that they have. Now, there's obviously two different ways in which that can operate for them, you know, either on the consecutive side or the alternating side. In other words, they may be in much may be much more successful to give them different things to take at different times for the alternating than it is for the consecutive.â
âThis being, if this is an appetite being this is not a being that is going to be healthy, operating through touch. It's not getting the and it's not because touch is bad. It's it simply has nothing to do with the way in which they are predisposed to be different, which means that they have moved in into a field in which they are being homogenized. And it means that their vehicle, their vehicle is no longer being treated correctly. It isn't, it isn't being treated correctly in terms of what it is internalizing. And it's not being treated correctly in terms of its external environment. Not at all. And the moment that you move to the transference, obviously, you move to different thematics.
And, of course, this is one of the things that we're going to see is that, you know, if you're looking at somebody who has appetite determination, and they are in constant transference, you know that, in all likelihood, you're going to see that they have nervous problems. These are people that can have lethargy problems, these are people that can be overactive, you know, their, their vehicle is over stimulated. And obviously, ultimately, it is going to be unhealthy for them more than that, the moment that the vehicle displays homogenized form, and the moment that that that homogenized form is subjected to wear and tear, the way that they're going to be approached in terms of healing is going to be related to their transference and have nothing to do with their nature.â [all the ways my mind is sure all kinds of forms of pleasant touch is what I need to heal or feel better đŹđł]
âSo here, when we're looking at the determination, we have to see that, you know, for this appetite determination that the real dilemma is that the being on the other side, you know that the being is in the Touch, you know, is homogenized is conditioned, to be predisposed to be calm, passive, physically, to be nervous, active physically, something totally different from the way in which the, the theme of appetite determination works.â [this one makes me wonder if we 1st colours in transference didnât invent and feed the global obsession for comfort and energy foods/drinks đŹđ]
About the way the Sun/Earth gates are impacted by Appetite determination : âSo, the first thing is that it's essential to see that the whole theme of the consecutive and the selective, you know, this theme is here, and when we're dealing with the internal, we are dealing with the, you know, this this consecutive, this is very important. Okay, so for example, think about it in terms of the 29. You know, the 29 is a yes gate, it's a gate to entering into things. Now, of course, what is healthy for this being in that sense, would be entering into things one thing at a time, one thing after the other, or perhaps, you know, there's a variation. In other words, when you're looking at the, the the structure here, you can see that the the whole internal is that it's absolutely it's absolutely essential that they're they're operating either on one side or the other.â
[consecutive] âOne of the things that is very important about this is that in your eating, the worst thing that you can do is alternate between the mashed potatoes and the meat, if I can put it so bluntly. Itâs very important for you to eat Consecutively. In other words, if you have three things on your plate, eat one after the other. And in eating one after the other, rather than going back and forth and Alternating between this one and that one, you will see that to begin with this is going to have an excellent effect on your digestive system. Itâs very important for you to see that youâre not here to mix your food. Youâre here to eat one thing at a time, finish it and go on to the next thing.â
[alternating ] âAlternating is something that is very specific. In other words, to give the illustration of the mashed potatoes and the peas and a piece of meat, itâs really about going from one to the other. Itâs really kind of like a ritual. Itâs not about finishing one of them first and Alternating between the other two and this kind of thing. Itâs really about one different thing after the other. This is something that is very, very important for you, very healthy for you in terms of the way you eat.
But be very careful aboutâwe can get into a lot of subtleties here, but for example, be very careful about one-dish dinners, if you know what I mean, that they scramble everything upâmeatloaf, shepherdâs pie, or any of these kinds of things where you throw everything together and you put it all into one thing. That isnât a healthy thing for you.
Itâs much healthier for you to have little things that you alternate between than it would be to have all of that sort of mixed up together and thrown together. So, itâs very important that you have this kind of potpourri, you have all of these different things and you go from one to the other and to the other and in that way itâs really going to be beneficial for your digestive system.â
[Alternating] âDonât mix your foods. For example, if youâre going to have eggs, donât make an omelet, have eggs and have whatever on the side, tomato or whatever and alternate, rather than having things mixed up together.â
