Watching the transit nodes - 32-42

The transits have been one of my favorite tools provided by the knowledge Ra shared with us. I’ve actually almost written an incredibly long and detailed article about how I use them : I’m apparently not allowed to share it… Thanks for nothing, Proggy! 🙄 (my nickname for the Program)

Lately, the nodes seem to change quite a lot in my world. It started on August 27, 2023. They’ll stay until January, 9, 2024. The energy and depression (42) and the instinctive fear (32) are palpable. It gives my world some sort of raginess too, it’s been a little while now that I’m watching, fascinating stuff. I find nodes in transits especially impressive at showing me how much were all heavily conditioned, without any choice to it.

Today, my body has been let to dig back up this wonderful piece of information :

“Nodal movement is one of my favorite transits to observe.

If we think of the transits like a movie that the entire planet is either acting out or watching, then the Nodes are what provide the stage dressing, the context in which the drama is taking place.

The South Node is the foreground, the spotlights on the stage, while the North Node provides the background, the theme music, the larger context in which the action takes place.”

South node : the spotlight on the 42, the gate of growth

If I take out the keynotes, the spotlight is on “Increase - the gate of growth”. So on the foreground, we have that incredible energy of finishing cycles (when in its channel), finishing to mature in some ways. I see so many people announcing they’re done with something. In my house, we’re about to move if life allows at the beginning of next month. After a year of not really wanting to be here, those last weeks feel interminable (in not-self, just unbearable sometimes). Our minds are so much more preoccupied than usual by getting out and finishing our experience here.

It’s also a gate of depression, like all format gates, Ra described this one in Channels by type as “you can never get out of things”, there’s such frustrated boredom around being stuck in some experience we don’t want to be in anymore in that energy. Can you sense it too?

Yeah, yeah, you may say “but it’s the environment, it’s not supposed to be you”. Sure. But as I see it, we’re all part of the backgrounds of each other. I usually seem to pick some influence on myself too, even if, unsurprisingly for a transpersonal Projector, I always catch it first in others.

When I check what he had to say about the 42 specifically in this nodal polarity, Ra calls the 42 “the demand for growth” (this may be a part of that impetuousness, almost raginess I’m picking up around me) and remind us of its Rave Iching description “The expansion of resources which maximizes the development of full potential”.

So, lots of energy available and a focus on growth and finishing stuff in the world right now, with any certainty that energy will be put to something durable, to lasting change and actual growth rather than something that will end up being devolving instead… great, fun 😬

North node : a background provided by the 32, the gate of continuity

The larger context is all about the 32, “Duration - the gate of continuity”. It’s carrying a strong, instinctive fear of failure, that the tribe may not last, survive. As a channel, it has a gift for sensing who to support socially, help climb “social ladders”, including oneself ability to have a better social status within the tribe. A lovely bargain when it’s correct : I’ll help you evolve, you’ll do the same, the tribe will therefore evolve too. Win, win, win. (One that I’d say from experience and observations tastes really gross when it’s incorrect though)

The Rave I-Ching describes the gate as “The only thing which endures is change”. It reminds me of Heraclitus “the only constant is change”.

In his lectures on environmental nodes, Ra says about it that’s it’s all about change. “The 32nd gate, which is a gate of continuity, is always disturbed when continuity is not something that is realizable. In other words, without being able to see the continuity in the process.” And “the people that are going to be there in your life are the ones who are going to be constantly dealing with these fears of failure. That’s the environment. The environment is people that are afraid of failure driven to thinking that growth is the answer. This is the whole process.”. This is what’s happening in the background, fueling that highlighted demand for change.

What fascinates me is to watch all kinds of people “getting out in the world” some with a strange “wanna be guru” vibe. No doubt on my end, change and fear, energized by the sacral are all around.

An environment full of instability and uncertainty

Ra also mentioned that “This is one of the most difficult Nodal polarities, difficult in the sense that it is a polarity that lays a foundation for the potential fulfillment of purpose on a stage where there is always threat and risk, and there is always uncertainty.”. There can be so many dilemmas we may all have to face and watch people around us facing. The world being so much in not-self, we’ll see a lot of devolution, and all kinds of unpleasantness about what kind of shenanigans that fear and demand for growth may nourish as not-self decisions.

As always, only our Strategy and Authority will keep us as safe as possible from not-self and its chaotic resistance. So to myself and maybe you if anyone read me one day, may the odds be in your favor.
